To strengthen compliance even further, Jad Family Pharmacy upgraded to C2 Keep Plus. This expanded solution supports controlled substance tracking across all schedules, along with drugs of interest.

The upgrade was driven primarily by the Controlled Substances Monitoring Program requirements set by major wholesalers such as McKesson, Cardinal Health, and Cencora. Prior to C2 Keep Plus, the pharmacy relied on annual audits for Schedule III through V medications. “Since C2 Keep already accounts for all our CIIs with no issues, we decided to make it easier on ourselves and go with C2 Keep Plus,” Steven says. Now, if the DEA, Board of Pharmacy, or a wholesaler initiates a visit, the team can quickly access the required data, reports, and documentation with confidence.
